it's always a struggle to remember what's gone on in the void of time since i last posted anything, my own fault cause i always leave ages between entries. i'm writing tonight partly cause i'm bored, and partly cause i got an email from pete telling me that someone else said to update it, so hello to you. i didn't realise that anyone else actually read it, besides my mum and the occasional friend, so it's a bit weird to think that maybe others out there actually sit through this shit, but there you have it, nature of the beast i suppose.
i just got back from 2 weeks in adelaide. rellies over from scotland which was cool. 2 weeks in adelaide is a great thing, came back to sydney feeling very laid back. have since worked about 40 hours in the few days i've been back at work so kind of feeling like i never really had a holiday at all. here's what's happening at work [boring!] working like a wee trooper for this new guy that's at our store for a few weeks while the bondi store gets fitted out. im apparently to have an interview for merch manager at bondi sometime next week, but i'm yet to hear anything about this from the people actually doing the interviewing. bondi would be interesting, not sure about the GM tho, but what can you do. would mean a change of scene and a move to new surrounds as the commute from here would be poo. i'm still keeping my options open so if anyone out there who works for a decent company is looking for a kick-arse visual merchandiser please let me know :) also looking at melbourne too, but not sure if i can be bothered moving, i'm a bit of a lazy cow. maybe i should pick out of a hat or something, ask my magic 8-ball.
not much else is happening really. going to see farenheit 9/11 tomorrow, bought the worlds best book today - 'don't let the pigeon drive the bus' - hilarious, going to see j5 next week, saw ugly duckling in adelaide, bought $24 levis, a $10 stripy jumper and a pair of $30 converse all stars. thinking about melbourne...see, things aren't all that bad after all!
