i'm running out of ideas for headers as you can see...if i think of a better one b4 the end of this post i'll change it, and then you'll never know what was there originally, you'll just see the new one, you'll also never know if the one u can see is the new one, or the old one, which meant i couldn't think of anything better. perhaps it will be fairly obvious...screwy huh?
anywayz this is just a quickie today. just finished a mad week at work. now 1wk off as kirsty comes over on tuesday to visit me hurrah. will also need to start looking for share housing again as things with luke have fallen thru due to geographical difficulties. not like adelaide where everything runs on the one train line or whatever [slight exaggeration but help yourself]. bummer cause i think we'd have gotten on alright, but hopefully will now continue to be a beer drinking/pool playing buddy or whatever. the more the merrier i say!! anyway...on with da show
no other news this week i don't think. bought 3 cds - dj krush's 'meiso' [asian hip hop/breakbeat/turntablism extraordinare!], rhcp 'by the way' [cause every now and then even i need to rock out a bit], and just bought roni size's original and best 'newforms' cause i've been meaning to get it for ages. this means i will not be able to buy clothes this fortnight...lame
anyway...that's all from me. if you're reading this cause u saw my ad on sydneyexchange hope i haven't scared u off yet...if i have then probably for best cause we wouldn't have got on anyway :)

//pleasant times//
well i didn't quite make it into the city on saturday night due to the fact that there happened to be a mardi gras on. trust me to forget! luckily it was noticed on the news b4 i left so plans were quickly changed and we descended on chatswood instead. not quite the 'happening' young suburb i had been led to think it would be. basically there's one decent pub where u can play pool. it has cooper's pale which is a bonus, it has a lot of twats which is not.
we ended up playing pool with a couple of freaks who's idea of a challenge is to put 20c on the table and expect us to move when we had $6 there already. screw pool ettiquette they could have picked another table. however, we let them play with us, they won a couple of games but mainly thru flukes [note...my memory is sort of alcohol foggy] but i think we played better. we started whooping them in the last couple of games. then one of them accidentally broke a rather expensive bar stool and they made a hasty exit. my experience of sydney people so far has not been the best. they are friendly and nice etc. that's not a problem. but the image thing here is very lame. chicks seem to be quite tame and follow a set code of behaviour, and usually that means losing their sense of humour and independence [i think this has a lot to do with the big 'couple' scene down here]. in contrast adelaide chicks are far less inhibited and generally give less of a damn about what people think of them. this is a great thing because it means they're more outgoing and a bit more mad in the head. sydney guys so far are a bit yobbo. or quiet. and many forms of humour are lost on them. don't get me wrong i am loving it here and i'm sure there's plenty of crazy people out there that contradict this view so far. just waiting to find them :) so far the people i've clicked best with are from adelaide or melbourne...go figure :)
anyway needless to say i got smashed, had fun, had a hangover at work the next day [had to start at 7am...ouch] but pulled thru alright. might also add here that i fell asleep mid conversation while on the phone to pete on sat night after i got home. very funny :) well the afternoon is young and i have precious little hours left b4 i have to start a week of early shifts. i'm off to get some grub and read 'arry potter.
