after a long day at work u want to come home, have a bite to eat, maybe watch a video or something, and you're on your way to achieving these goals, when etsa decide to have a powercut. now it wouldn't be so bad if this were not a regular thing. it's so completely lame i want to phone them up and cry into the phone til they fix it. i've been wanting to watch 'braveheart' all day too and just when it's getting good...zap...no power. maybe i should go and touch some stuff in the fuse box, just in case it's just flicked itself off, but i have no idea what i'm doing and will probably electrocute myself.
i finally have something to d/l mp3s with. it's a lame thing called limewire, and it takes about an hour to d/l a 4 minute track, which is completely pants [that one's for u zip] but as i always say it's better than nothing. a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush and all that. i have managed to get some pretty cool choons already tho. i got the very excellent 'mad world' from the donnie darko soundtrack, as well as some ms dynamite, and i'm about 1 minute away from the white stripes but the freak who's computer i must be leaching it off keeps dropping me. at least i assume that's what's happening...i'm not really sure how this all works.
last night me and pete went to see 'spirited away' and it has to be one of the oddest films ever. it was good and i really enjoyed it, but god it was weird. there was something so eerie and creepy underlying the cute anime graphics that i felt a bit uneasy about the whole thing, although [spoiler ahead...] it does have a happy ending. very very odd tho. i wouldn't mind seeing it again tho, maybe without the sensory aid of several pre movie drinks, to see what i think of it then.
anywayz...i might write again later i'm going to try and fix my power problems. also half way thru missy elliott's new single...it's only taken me 2 days to d/l so y'know...kinda excited about listening to it. cya!
