another christmas over. as usual a good day but very tiring. i crashed out with a baileys/pale ale combo at about 8pm watching 'lord of the rings' on dvd. speaking of which, i saw 'the two towers' today and it was excellent. great fun! currently it's 2.30am on a friday night and i have a day off tomorrow so i'm sitting with a bailey's, just finished a pizza and about to polish off a box of celebration choccies that i got for xmas. it's been a pretty lazy night. im watching channel v and one of my fave video clips of all time has just come on ['windowlicker' by aphex twin] so it's all in all turning out to be a pleasant time.
after reading an article on the vines in this months face magazine i think im now going to buy 'highly evolved'. i've been thinking about it, as what i've heard i liked, but just have kept putting it off. i like a bit of edgy rock if it's decent sounding. unfortunately there's so many albums, so little time/money to get round to doing anything about furthering my music collection. currently i'm still trying to find an application that lets me d/l mp3s on the mac. so far my quest is in vain. nothing works, or if it does it doesn't support mac. it's so lame. i also need to find someone who can hook up irwin to a pc so i can back up my music onto cd cause i'm paranoid about losing it!
anywayz...the last few days have been crazy and i think i'm about ready for some sleep :)

1 more day to go! how exciting :) i always get really giddy at this time of the year i'm like a big kid! plus another thing to be happy about is the fact there's only 1 more day of work left b4 i get a day off. the store is even worse today than the weekend and everyone's going really mental with last minute present buying. it's very tiring, but i'm looking forward to several bottles of pale ale after work tomorrow, maybe i'll even treat myself to a wee bottle of bailey's :)
still no word about sydney. they like cutting it fine i think. plus, if i do get it, they'll turn round and want me to be there with little to no notice which would suck...i really want to go to the big day out! hehe i'm getting quite excited about the prospect of living there. who knows what will happen if they say no. i won't be very impressed put it that way. there's always the job in adelaide but even that's in doubt, cause why would they have asked me to apply to sydney if they needed me in adelaide? we'll see what happens.
and bring on the nokia 7210. another reason to hope i stay in the country that wee while longer. built in hands-free! java supported! wap enabled! half of it i'll never use or understand, but it's new! yay!

cricket is lame...aussies are slogging sri lanka and it's boring as hell.
the city is lame. work is very busy and it's very tiring. and i'm sorry lady that i can't find the book your looking for...maybe it would help if u knew what it was called or who wrote it
useoz/hotkey are lame. do not, i repeat, do NOT get your internet thru them. my email address has disappeared into the void, meaning any email's i've received in the last however many days are all gone. thanks for nothing.

secret santa is cool. i got a wicked bowl set from ikeguchi. was very impressed with the calibre of the gifts this year. now i just have to find out who my clever santa was!
mobile phones r cool. although my current plan is lame, the new one i will sign my life away to should i get the sydney job and stay in australia for the next wee while, rocks. i get a lovely new nokia phone too yay!
minke bar is cool...just cause it is :) nye for $20! heaven can stick theirs up their bum.
christmas is cool...cause generally everyone is in a good mood
